Alexandros Macridis '80
Alexandros Macridis graduated from the Athens College in 1980. He studied Economics and Political Science (BA) at Yale College (with high honors), Law (JD) at Yale Law School and Business Administration (MBA) at Harvard Business School.
He is President and CEO of "Chryssafidis SA", a company founded in 1882 and active in the distribution of mechanical equipment in SE Europe. Prior to assuming these duties, he worked at Goldman Sachs in New York in the field of M&A and corporate finance.
He is a member of the International Board of Yale, Endeavor Greece, and the Greek Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE). He has served as Secretary General of the Hellenic Foundation for Enterprises (SEV) and has participated in various educational Boards (American College of Greece, ALBA) and corporate Boards (National Bank of Greece, Aegean Air Force, TITAN, etc.).
He is married to Marietta Kalamara and they have 3 children, Eleni, Michalis, and Nikos, who have attended Athens College.
