Annual Fund

Internationally, the term "Annual Fund" refers to annual unrestricted gifts that help ensure the operation of an organization and serve its strategic priorities. At Athens College, the Annual Fund is a tool for mobilizing collective participation in support of the Scholarship Program for Student Financial Aid.

Annual Fund encompasses events organized by the Fund Drive volunteer Committees (Christmas Bazaar, Elementary Schools Spring Event, Alumni Class Reunions, cultural activities), student and other initiatives (Parents Senior Class Giving) and other actions (Alumni Class Milestone Reunions, Athens College Marathon etc.).

The Annual Fund opens on September 1 of each year and ends on August 31. As such, Annual Fund giving corresponds with the College’s fiscal year, not the calendar year. Gifts of all sizes are welcome to support this ongoing effort.
