Alexandros Phylactopoulos '65
Alexandros Phylactopoulos graduated from Athens College in 1965 and earned a degree from the Law School of the University of Athens and post-graduate degrees from Princeton University and the University of Cambridge. He is President of College Year in Athens (CYA) and of the subsidiary of the International Center for Hellenic and Mediterranean Studies (DIKEMES). Since 1986 he presides the CYA. Previously, he served as Director of the Greek Embassy’s Press and Information Service in Washington, DC and subsequently served in the same capacity in Mexico City. He is a member of the Board of the Archaeological Society, a member of the Board of European Association of Study Abroad (EUASA), President of the Princeton Club of Greece and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of various companies and educational institutions.
