Vasilios Niadas graduated from Athens College in 1969. He holds a BA in Chemistry from the University of Rochester, NY and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He has served as President and Managing Director of CANA SA Pharmaceutical Laboratories and Vice President and Deputy President of the Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies. Since 2004 he is on the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Economic & Industrial Research.

He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), a member of the Greek Management Association (EEDE), a member of the Hellenic Association of Entrepreneurs (EENE) and a member of the Board of Davaris Textiles SA. From 1975 to 1986 he worked in the Vas. Niadas and Sons SA pharmaceuticals company.

In 2014, he was elected member of the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation, in 2017 member of its Board of Directors and in 2018 he assumed the role of General Secretary. 

He is fluent in English and French. He is married and father to three Psychico College graduates.
