George Dangas '83
George Dangas graduated from Athens College in 1983. He is a Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) and Surgery (Vascular) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, a Founding Physician of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation, New York City and Professor of Cardiology at his alma mater the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has received multiple professional distinctions from international societies and served as a Trustee of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions (SCAI) and as President of the Hellenic Medical Society of New York for several years.
