Christos Konstantopoulos

Athens College Co-Director/ Director

Christos Konstantopoulos studied Mathematics at the University of Athens, School of Physics and Mathematics and completed postgraduate studies (MA in Mathematics Education) at Adelphi University, New York, USA. He has served as Head of the Athens College Mathematics Department, as well as Deputy Director of the High School. On September 2018, he was appointed Director of Athens College High School. In academic year 2021-2022 he served as Coordinator of Athens College, and in September 2022, he was appointed Co-Director of Athens College. 

He has worked as a researcher at the National Technical University and written the book entitled “Mathematical References” (1991), co-authored the textbooks, “3rd Gymnasium Mathematics – Algebra” (1999) and “3rd Lyceum Mathematics for Science and Technology Concentrations, volumes I, II, III” (2009, 2010, 2011) and presented papers at seminars and conferences. He was awarded a Teacher Appreciation Certificate from the Mathematical Association of America and an Exceptional Teaching Certificate from Stanford University, USA.  He is also a certified ICT and Level 1 Leader in the Leaders for Excellence Program of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM).
