Ioannis Kalogeras
Ioannis Kalogeras studied Business Administration at the University of Piraeus and continued his studies at the Marasleio Didaskaleio of Elementary School Education (Certificate in Elementary School Education), at the Adelphi University in New York, USA (MA in Elementary Education) and at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (BEd in Elementary School Education).
Ioannis Kalogeras worked in a private primary school before joining the faculty of the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation in 1990, where he taught all grades of the Elementary School. From 2009 to 2012 he was Deputy Director in charge of 5th and 6th grades, and from 2012 to 2016 he was Deputy Director in charge of 1st and 2nd grades. From 2018 to 2021 he was Coordinator for the Primary Years Programme of the International Baccalaureate for 3rd grade. In September 2022 he was appointed Director of the Athens College Elementary School.
He is a long-distance runner, having completed 34 Marathons, among them in Athens and London.
