Each year on September 26, European Day of Languages is celebrated with the aim of promoting Europe’s rich linguistic and cultural diversity and intercultural understanding.

Within this context, students of the advanced 5^th grade section of German carried out an activity titled “My favorite word.”  They researched online how their favorite word is spelled and pronounced in different languages and then visualized it.   The same activity took place with 6^th grade students who study German as a 2^nd foreign language.  This culminated in the creation of a wall panel of words running along the 6^th grade corridor.
