For the eighth consecutive year, Athens College Elementary School students supported the initiative of the volunteer organization Library4all by contributing to its cause.

The objective of this organization is to support our nation’s Kindergarten libraries.  With this objective in mind, the Bookwave initiative has been collecting books for the past eight (8) years, which it then offers to schools in accordance with their needs.

Due to the unusual situation we are all facing this year, Bookwave did not organize its usual campaign.  Nonetheless, Athens College Elementary School students created their own “wave” of books, continuing the tradition that was established over the past years.  Thus, within a very short period of time, in just three days, our School’s children collected 510 books, which were delivered to the persons in charge of Library4All, who thanked our School of its donation.

Our students, once again, showed their sensitivity and solidarity.  They deserve to be congratulated!
