The struggle for Freedom is a difficult one!

Uprootings, battles, deaths, misery.

A fight for one’s values, homeland, family, freedom, children and native tongue.

On this symbolic anniversary, the 200 years since the Revolution of 1821, Psychico College Elementary School’s Library is commemorating this event by providing printed and electronic sources for the children so that they may become acquainted with the great moments of this struggle.

Books, movie clips, great historical figures, songs, art, and food will bring the children closer to the dreams, ambitions and harsh struggles that the protagonists of this historical event endured so that we may live free today.

The anniversary of the Revolution of 1821 is not only for museum showcasing. It is an opportunity for all of us, as we look at our history, to write new pages for tomorrow.

This very interesting material, collected and curated by the P.C. Elementary School Library, can be viewed by clicking here.
