To mark the bicentennial celebration of the Greek Revolution of 1821, 3rd grade students read the first twenty verses of “Hymn to Liberty,” written by our national poet, Dionysios Solomos.  Inspired by the illustration techniques of author and illustrator, Alexis Kyritsopoulos, they created their own works of art.
