International Francophonie Day, established in 1998, is celebrated on March 20th by 500 million people around the globe to highlight their affinity with France through the French language in all its diversity. This year, our School’s French Department teachers marked this day with their 5th and 6th grade students online by engaging in a variety of fun, educational and interactive activities, by watching videos, playing games and creating online puzzles. The aim was to enhance students’ creativity, have them apply their knowledge of the French language in an entertaining way, and familiarize them with the values of multilingualism, freedom and respect for human rights.
