The video prepared by the Robotics Team of Psychico College Elementary School was posted on WRO Hellas’ official website where it gathered 1,160 votes, placing it first among 87 entries from around Greece.
The Robotics Team of PC Elementary School, comprised of 6th grade students Dimitris Anagnostaras, Ioanna Anastasopoulou, Kyriaki-Manto Athanasiadi, Nektrarios Giannakis, Georgios Krassas, and Dimitis Vroggistinos, took part in the Panhellenic Robotics Competition using Scratch Advanced that was organized by the non-profit WRO Hellas Educational Robotics organization to celebrate the 200-year anniversary of the Greek Revolution.
Our students, coached by their Informatics teacher, Mr. Theofanis Papathanasiou, worked diligently and cheerfully, and exhibited flawless collaboration. With respect to Greek history, guided by their imagination, and assisted by Karagiozis, they designed figures of the Greek Revolution and programmed them to simultaneously move and interact with one another, as well as with the environment. Thus, they composed an entertaining digital show titled “Karagiozis and the Greek Revolution.”
Warm congratulations to all the students who admirably represented our School.
