1st Prize and Honorable Mentions for Psychico College Elementary School Pupils in Museum of Cycladic Art 8th Kids’ Contest
Psychico College Elementary School pupil, Andreas Kortesis (section 4ε) won 1st Prize in the Museum of Cycladic Art’s 8th Kids’ Contest (4th grade category) in which young artists were invited to capture their “Everyday Heroes.”
Additionally, the following students received honorable mentions for their artwork: Konstantinos Markou (1στ), Odysseas Konstantinos Lampropoulos (1β), Lydia Papaioannou (2γ), Kyriaki Moutsatsou (2στ), Nestoras Konstantinos Dernikas (3στ), Aikaterini Manafa (4α), and Elena Kavvatha (5γ).
Children aged 4-15 years (children from pre-school, primary school, junior high school, and the two educational levels of Special Schools) participated in the contest. According to the Museum’s site, the contest drew 6,000 entries from Greece and abroad and awarded 36 prizes and 96 honorable mentions.
