Psychico College Elementary School Students Received Awards by the Hellenic Foundation for Culture

The Hellenic Foundation for Culture hosted an awards ceremony to honor students who distinguished themselves in the International Online Painting Competition “Children and Teenagers Depict the Meaning of the 1821 Struggle”. The award ceremony took place on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the Bodossaki residence which houses the Foundation’s headquarters.

A total of 357 students from 222 schools in Greece and abroad, including Albania, Cyprus, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, and the United States of America participated in the competition, which was organized by the Hellenic Foundation for Culture in partnership with the Children’s Greek Art Museum and with the support of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs.

The Minister of Education and Religious Affairs, Mrs Niki Kerameus, addressed a brief greeting. Ms Zeta Makri, Deputy Minister of Education and Religious Affairs, and Ms Eleni Doundoulaki, Secretary General of Contemporary Culture, were also in attendance.

Our School participated with the works of two students who distinguished themselves in the competition. Christos Nikolaou, Grade 6 student of Psychico College Elementary School received an award, and Sebastian Kron Chansen, Grade 5 student of Psychico College Elementary School received a commendation.
