Psychico College Elementary School grade 6 students visited Varkiza Beach, in an activity that is part of the broader effort to raise awareness in the student body about environmental issues. They were first briefed by the representatives of the municipality of Vari Voula Vouliagmeni on the environmental challenges faced in the area, and the initiatives of the municipality to address them. Then the students participated in a beach cleanup, as part of the HELMEPA activities for the International Coastal Cleanup.
