The Educational Programs Coordinator of the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature congratulated Athens College Elementary School for the success of Grade 6 students in the Greek National Photo-story Competition. In recognition of their achievement, HSPN gifted to Athens College Elementary School a series of their books on environmental issues. The letter that accompanied the gift is both moving and hopeful. The efforts of our teachers and students for a better world continue.

The Online Award Ceremony for the school units that participated in the Greek National Photo-story Competition during 2020-2021 academic year took place on November 27, 2021 at 10:00-12:00. The photo-stories that won this award for Athens College Elementary School were entitled “NO MORE PLASTIC”. They were presented by Ms. Marianthi Giannakopoulou, English teacher at Athens College Elementary, who participated in the competition with her Grade 2 and Grade 6 classes.
