A series of activities to raise environmental awareness and strengthen behavior regarding environmental issues organized by our School for Elementary and Junior High School teachers came to a fruitful conclusion. Our teachers watched three informative lectures delivered by Professor of Environmental Education and Communication of the University of West Attica Dr. Constantina Skanavis.  

Lectures were followed by the creation of a mosaic made of recyclable and waste materials for each school unit by PhD candidate and teacher Mr. Giannos Theodoulou together with a team of researchers from the Department of Environmental Education and Communication of the University of West Attica.

The creation of a mosaic is part of the multiple award-winning "Skyros Project" which has been implemented by Professor Constantina Skanavis and her team over the last eight years. Our educators participated voluntarily to this activity.
