Our School, faithful to the values of its Founders and its long tradition, remains today actively engaged with social outreach programs aimed at raising awareness among our students and preparing them to respond to the needs of our society. “The Wish Tree” is among these programs, aimed at increasing diversity inclusion.

On Thursday, December 9, 2021, Athens College Elementary Section 1e students with their teacher Ms. Ioanna Tselenti, met online with students from ELEPAP’s Early Intervention Unit (ELEPAP- Rehabilitation for The Disabled).   

Once students had a chance to meet each other, Ms. Elena Dimopoulou, educator from ELEPAP, narrated to the children the story of “The Wish Tree”. Students from both schools then jointly participated in processing and enrichment activities, and created two trees decorated with a collage of wishes.

The children’s wishes made both trees blossom, just like the tree in the story!
