Athens College Grade 3 students studied and researched the mythological Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Greece, in the context of the unit which was part of their History lesson, from September to November 2022. The concluding activity of the TfU (Teaching for Understanding) of the Unit included a presentation prepared by the students on one God or Goddess.

Students made original costumes, weapons, tools, objects, and presented their own impersonations of the Greek deities with great success.

Through this creative process many skills were developed, such as, creative thinking, organizational skills, mutual respect for diversity, communication, cooperation, an understanding of cultural heritage and self-management skills.
