The Athens College Elementary School Department of German language and the German Club organized a series of activities to celebrate Christmas, beginning with St. Martin's Day. Students learned about German Christmas traditions, sang St. Martin's carols to their classmates, baked traditional German sweets, decorated the jars containing cake ingredients for our School's Christmas Bazaar, made Christmas cards and posters, and learned how Christmas is celebrated in Germany.
