The 8th Panhellenic “Education & Culture in the 21st century” Conference was held with great success on the weekend of May 13-14 2023 at the Athens College facilities in Psychico. The event was co-organized by the School Life and Education Museum, the Hellenic Educational Society, Athens College, and the Department of Tourism Management of the University of Patras.

Athens College President Professor Costas Syolakis ’75 and President of the School Life and Education Museum Dr. Evangelia Kantartzi gave opening remarks.

Speakers were presented by author and journalist Mr. Kostas Stoforos ’79.

On behalf of the College, speeches were given by:

-Ms. Polyanthi Tsigou, Head of the Athens College President’s Office: “Mentoring and Coaching at Athens College-Learning from one another”

-Ms. Evi Andrioti, Music teacher at “J.M. Carras” Kindergarten: “Playing by ear and developing musical skills in Pre-School”

-Ms. Despoina Bogdani-Sogioul, Music teacher at Athens College Elementary School, who led the workshop: "Creating children's cultural identity in education through narrative fiction books"
