Students of Athens College Grade 1 and 2 are "Spreading Happiness"
300 painted shirts
300 different meanings of happiness
300 acts of love
300 acts of giving
Students of Athens College Grade 1 and 2 participated in the activity "Spreading happiness".
The children discussed with their teachers the meaning of happiness and the reasons why we should be grateful.
They then drew slogans of happiness on T-shirts as they perceive it.
The activity ended with the "spreading of the happiness laundry". Young and old alike went out into the forest of our School and participated in a symbolic "spreading of happiness".
The most colorful laundry with the happiest "happy" t-shirts was spread around our School!
It was for all of us a joyful day of immense value. We were reminded that happiness is hidden within and around us in simple, small, everyday things.
The proceeds of our activity went to the "Floga" Parents' Association of Children with Cancer.
