John M. Carras Kindergarten students' visit to Athens College Elementary School
On Friday, May 17 May 2024 we welcomed our beloved infants in our Elementary School.
Students of Grade 1 were preparing long before for this very special day!
Before students of Kindergarten arrived at our School, a suitcase with representative items of Grade 1 was sent to the Kindergarten and "traveled" to all the sections as a "harbinger" of this visit.
On Friday, Kindergarten students came to our School and after taking a tour, they entered the classrooms to meet the first graders and their teachers. We then went out into the woods for a picnic and enjoyed the beautiful nature.
As they left, the toddlers took their gifts and the mascot for each section of the Kindergarten with them. The owl of each section will return to the Elementary School in September full of news and experiences from Kindergarten which she will share with the teachers and the new first years!
We wish all Kindergarten students a wonderful summer and we are looking forward to seeing you all in September at our School!!
