We are pleased to announce the completion of the school in Ghana, which Athens College Elementary School undertook to complete this year. The inauguration took place in an atmosphere of emotion and celebration. Our volunteer Stephanie Grigoriou handed over the keys to the Headmaster of the School and the School Counsellor. The school is fully operational and its first students already started attending. Students of Athens College Elementary Environmental and Gardening Club with their teachers watched snapshots of the event, thanked the volunteer and wished the children of the Keireben 2 community all the best.

For the construction of the school in Ghana, our students raised money with the help of the entire Athens College Elementary student body, teachers, parents, and other members of the College family. Through this effort, our students also participated in our School's Annual Fund as the amount raised after the project needs are met will support the Scholarship Program.
