On Tuesday, October 29, the students of Athens College Grades 4, 5 and 6 had the opportunity to attend a lecture by Dr. G. Nakos, an officer of the Hellenic Police and a psychologist, who discussed and explained to them the safe way of using the internet and technology in general. Dr. Nakos used videos and school students' projects as a trigger for the discussion that took place and encouraged the children to record additional questions and queries to be answered at a subsequent informative session. The children participated with interest and seriousness and their questions were pertinent. Our School organizes similar activities throughout the school year to accompany children alongside their families and empower them in the face of the challenges of technology.
