Athens College Elementary School - "Young Entrepreneurs: dream, create and offer"
Nov 7, 2024
On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the Athens College Elementary School Entrepreneurship Clubs o welcomed Mr. Paminos Kyrkinis, parent and co-founder of e-food and Ms. Claire Cohen '05, brand and CSR manager at e-food.
The two speakers introduced the children to the process of creating an innovative business, the calculated risk that founders must take, the relentless efforts to establish and expand the business, and the vision for the future of the business that was so painstakingly set up. However, the most important message of the presentation was that of Social Responsibility, i.e. the speakers discussed with the children how crucial it is that in the 21st century, in today's world, a company's actions must have a positive impact on society, that the company plans and supports actions that help people around us, near or far.
The children of the Clubs benefited significantly from this meeting and will use, with the help of the responsible teachers - Ms. Koulakou, Mr. Kallimanis, Mr. Lefteratos, and will use what they learned in the activities that will follow for our School's Christmas Bazaar.
We would like to thank Mr. Kyrkinis and Ms. Cohen for the experience they offered to our students!
