On Thursday, November 14, a performance was staged in our School's theater to honor the struggle of the students of the Polytechnic. Our stage was divided in two. On one side of the stage, students of sections 5e recounted the events of the real history of the Polytechnic and on the other side they dramatized excerpts from the book "Magic Pillows" by Eugene Trivizas. With words, images, music, and movement, the children reminded us that knowledge cannot withstand oppression and that young people have the courage to push our society forward, away from injustice and tyranny. The choir of our School also participated in the performance.
