Athens College Elementary School - "Let’s plant the future together": Reforestation at the Fire Lookout Tower of Dionysos
Mar 13, 2025
Under the slogan "Let’s plant the future together", more than 220 students, parents, and teachers from Athens College Elementary School took part in the reforestation organized by "Oloi Mazi Boroume" and SKAI, on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the Fire Lookout Tower of Dionysos.
Our School's participation in this important environmental effort was driven by an initiative from the Parents' Association, which encouraged students, parents and teachers to join forces in support of nature.
Armed with hoes and plenty of enthusiasm, families and educators dedicated their time to planting over 500 trees, making a lasting impact on the environment and contributing to the restoration of the slopes of Mount Pentelicus.
This event is part of our School's environmental education, strengthening the students' bond to nature and promoting the value of active participation in the protection of the environment.
We wholeheartedly thank the Parents' Association for the initiative, but also all students, parents and teachers who contributed to the success of this effort!
We renew our appointment for our next events, continuing to foster environmental consciousness and "plant" a greener future!
