Observance of Athens College Founders’ Day, in memory of our School’s great benefactors and motivators, began with the time-honored liturgy at the Church of the Archangels on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Present at the liturgy were members of the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation and School Administration, students and teachers.

In her speech, Chairwoman of the HAEF Board of Directors Mrs. Annika Papantoniou underlined the important contribution of many individuals to the creation of the School and its emergence as a Center of Educational - Pedagogical Excellence.

Celebratory events for Founders’ Day were held in all the school units. 

October 18th has been designated “College Founders’ Day” inasmuch as the official inauguration of the College took place on Sunday, October 18, 1925, with classes commencing the following day, Monday.
