The International Baccalaureate (IB) World Conference "Education for an Inclusive Future" was held in Dublin, Ireland, on 5-8 October 2023. This year, two parallel conferences, the IB Global Conference and the Heads World Conference, were held, attracting over 1,700 educators, IB school leaders and education experts from 101 countries. 

The Heads World Conference was attended by the Athens College Junior High School Director Mrs. Vasiliki Tla, the Psychico College Junior High School Director Mrs. Nikoletta Kanelli and IB Programmes Director - IB DP Head of School Mrs. Eleni Vassiliou.

The main focus of the Conference was on strategies and practices that promote inclusion, diversity, and equality in education. Through a series of workshops and lectures, participants had the opportunity to learn and exchange views on how education policies can be adapted to meet the needs of all learners. Distinguished speakers shared their knowledge and experiences on topics such as access to education, the integration of digital AI tools in education, linguistic and cultural heterogeneity and strategies to combat discrimination.

The Conference concluded with the commitment of the education community to continue its work on inclusion and personalized learning, emphasizing the need for collaboration, shared vision and action at a global level.
