Athens College High School student distinguished at Global Model World Health Organization (GMWHO) Conference

Students, members of the Athens College High School MUN Club participated in the Global Model World Health Organization (GMWHO) conference, which took place in Geneva from October 29 to November 1, 2024.

The conference is a simulation of the World Health Organization meetings, in which students from schools around the world discuss and develop proposals on topical issues related to global health.

Students who represented our School were Spyridoula-Rallou Georgopoulou, Antonios Doumouras, Odysseas-Dimitrios Lymperopoulos and Natalia Biazou from High School 1, Daphni Belioti, Eleftherios Revelas and Maria Tsiflakou from  High School 2 and Vyronas Trikkalidis from High School 3. The members of the Club were accompanied in Geneva by the MUN Club teachers-consultants Ms. T. Asimakopoulou and Mr. N. Palantzas. 

Eleftherios Revelas, a student of High School 2, was awarded the Diplomacy Award by the organizing committee of the conference.
