The Panhellenic (Student) Competition in Informatics, organized by the Greek Computer Society (EPY), aims to develop students' skills in Informatics. Carried out under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Education, the Competition serves as the national qualifier for the annual International Olympiad in Informatics, held under the auspices of UNESCO. It is conducted in collaboration with Schools and Departments of Informatics and Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Informatics and Telecommunications, and Applied Informatics of Greek universities, and Informatics and Computer Systems of Advanced Technological Educational Institutes.
