This Moose Belong to Me
Willy owned a moose. He hadn’t always owned a moose. The moose came to him a while ago and, it occurred to him that just because the moose had come to him, it didn’t mean it was his. Nevertheless he thought he would call him Marcel.
Most of the time Marcel was very obedient, scrupulously abiding by the “Rules of Good Pet Behavior.” Imagine Willy’s surprise when, one day, while deep in the woods, someone told him Marcel had a different name and claimed the moose as their own!
To whom does Marcel in fact belong? (if Marcel is actually his name)
A beautifully illustrated story from one of our favorite writers and illustrators, Oliver Jeffers, that will make us question whether there is, in fact, anything in the world that truly belongs to us. Is there?
