Fyllos
“Fyllos” is a youthful, fantasy book which, likeall good books of its kind, is for persons of all ages. “If ever you find yourself surrounded byshady trees and hear the rustling of leaves, the wind whistling through thebranches, do not be afraid, it is my voice telling you secrets,” says the “Songof the forest.”

Fyllos, like a true Tree-Dweller, knows thateven the stones that never move have a life within them: slow, long andpalpable when you touch them.
A dreamy mood and lots of imaginativenessdominate Elena Glossioti’s text, who, as her biography indicates, was raisedwith adventurous and diverse experiences. Her description of the forest makesone realize how close she has lived to nature and her respect and love for it isconveyed to the readers in “Fyllos.”
Myrto Delivoria’s illustrations are, onceagain, exceptional. Truly, preciousthings come to us in small packages…
