Entrance Examinations - Scholarships for academic year 2025-2026

On Saturday, March 15, 2025, 09:00 - 13:30, Athens College will hold written exams for the admission of students to Grade 3, Grade 7 (Junior High School 1), Grade 10 (High School 1) and the first year of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme for academic year 2025-2026.

Applications can be submitted to the Student Admissions Office until Wednesday, February 26, 2025 (15 Stephanou Delta st., Psychico, T: 210-6798138, 210-6741349, email: [email protected] or [email protected]).

Scholarship Program

For academic year 2025-2026, Athens College will offer:

For the first year of Junior High School (Grade 7)

  • the possibility of full or partial financial support to the first seventy (70) students who will be admitted based on their family's financial situation. Decisions will be made based on the criteria of the College's Scholarship Program.
  • Up to eight (8) Merit Scholarships to students who excel in the Entrance Examinations, regardless of financial status.

For the first year of High School (Grade 10)

  • the possibility of full or partial financial support to the first twenty (20) students who will be admitted based on their family's financial situation. Decisions will be made based on the criteria of the College's Scholarship Program.
  • Up to four (4) Merit Scholarships to students who will excel in the Entrance Examinations, regardless of financial status.

For the 1st year of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

  • one Merit Scholarship to a student who excels in the Entrance Examinations, regardless of financial status. 

Since the beginning of the College of Athens in 1925, the Scholarship Program has been a cornerstone of the pedagogical - social philosophy of the School and a fundamental element of its unique “character”. The aim of the Program is to offer the opportunity to deserving children to study at the College, whatever the financial situation of their families may be. For academic year 2024-2025, the College has allocated more than €3,700,000 for scholarships.

 

Regional Scholarships

For High School candidates attending a regional school, the College offers - in addition to the above-mentioned - Regional Scholarships. Thanks to the generosity of friends and members of the College family, in academic year 2025-2026, the following may be awarded:

  • one (1) scholarship for the Region of South Aegean
  • one (1) scholarship for the Region of Central Greece or the Region of Evia
  • one (1) scholarship for the Region of Epirus

 

All scholarships are awarded until the students graduate, provided that the conditions under which they were awarded continue to be met. A prerequisite for the awarding of any Scholarship is the exceptional conduct of the students.
