Pre-Kindergarten students make an inquiry into the human body
As part of their inquiry into the transdisciplinary unit, Who We Are, students in the Coral and Seashell classes were visited by parents, who are doctors, and learned about different medical specialties such as otolaryngologists, orthopedics, dentists and neurologists. More specifically, the doctors made a presentation about bones in different parts of the human body such as, the face, hands and legs. Students cultivated social, communication and thinking skills as their questions were answered regarding the structure and function of the human body as well as, each doctor’s duties.
We warmly thank them!
