Athens College Grade 2 students investigated the parts of a neighborhood, the needs of its residents and what their rights and obligations are, in the context of the 2nd Research Unit under the title "How we organize ourselves". We learned that we are all active members of an organized community that serves our needs, operating in a spirit of cooperation and respect, cultivating skills of inquiry and communication.

Within this context, all Grade 2 students worked together and with the assistance of their teachers, built their own neighborhood.
