As part of the transdisciplinary unit, How We Organize Ourselves, with the central idea “Humans need to be members of a community”, pre-kindergarten students had the opportunity to meet police officers with the help of parents from the Clam class. Police officers made a presentation about their daily activities, the work that they do, and their role in the community.
