Athens College Elementary Environmental and Gardening Club Participates in the seminar "Eco Schools, a proposal for climate education in practice: methodology and applications"
The action of the Environmental and Gardening Club was presented by teacher Ms. Marianthi Giannakopoulou, in a seminar on the topic "Eco-Schools, a proposal for climate education in practice: methodology and applications" on Thursday, December 8, 2022. The seminar was organized by the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature, the National Coordinator of the International Thematic Network "Eco-Schools", and the Directorate of Secondary Education, which is the coordinating body of the "Eco-Schools" network. Ms. Giannakopoulou presented the 7 steps of Eco-Schools through actions implemented in our School in the past and for which our School has been awarded with the Eco-Schools Green Flag four times.
