Four of the College’s students, members of the School’s Forensics Club, were selected for Debate Team Greece 2023, to represent Greece and the Panhellenic Forensics Association at the World Schools Debating Championship 2023, which will take place in Vietnam on July 18-28, 2023.

The following students were selected for the Team (in alphabetical order):

Eftychia Chrystodoulou (IB2)

Leonidas Marinopoulos (IB1)

Maximus Papaioannides (IB1)

Leonidas Tsaousis (HS3, PC) was selected as an alternate for the Team.

Our three students will be part of a 5-person team along with students from Pierce and Moraitis School.

The Team was selected after a lengthy and highly competitive process, with the most experienced debaters invited to take part. The selection of our students is a great achievement and a testament of all their great efforts during the selection process, but also for their overall commitment and efforts over the years in debate practices and competitions. Debate Team Greece 2023 will compete against more than 60 countries in the World Schools Debating Championship 2023, which will take place in person in Vietnam in July. They will also represent Greece in multiple international competitions in the lead-up to Worlds.
