On Monday, March 20, which marked the day of the Spring Equinox, students participating in the Athens College Junior High School Mathematical Thinking Club and the Science Lab worked as a team to calculate the Earth's radius, using the Eratosthenes Method.

The experiment was carried out in collaboration with the Panhellenic Association of Natural Sciences Laboratory Coordinators (PANEKFE) and under the auspices of the Ministry of Education.

The supervising teachers were Mr. Symeon Koutsikos, Mr. Nikolaos Mamfredas and Ms. Eirini Siotou.
