In an atmosphere of great emotion, on July 1, 2 & 7 2023, the Athens College High School Drama Club presented Elli Papadimitriou's play "Koinos Logos" directed by Aggeliki Girkinoudi at the Greek Cultural Center "Thespis" New York and the Maliotis Cultural Center in Boston. 

The performances were held under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy.

Athens College President Professor Costas Synolakis '75, addressed the expatriates who attended the events, and praised the role of the Greeks of the diaspora and described these performances as the beginning of the College's students' excursions for the strengthening of our School's relations with its graduates abroad and with the Greek communities abroad in general.

His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America attended the performance in New York (2/7).

The performances of "Koinos Logos" by the Athens College High School Drama Club were part of the College's tribute to the Hellenism of Asia Minor, the Asia Minor Catastrophe and the resettlement of Asia Minor Greeks in Greece.
