Athens College Junior High School MUN team participated at the 13th annual session of Platon School Model United Nations Conference (PS-MUN). It was held March 1 - 3, 2024 at the premises of Platon School in Athens. The theme of this year’s conference was ‘The paradox of Progress’. We participated with 2 delegations representing Egypt and Philippines. Our 11 delegates took part in General Assembly’s Committees (GA1, GA3, GA4, GA6) as well as in specialized committees such as EC, SPECON, CSTD,UNDOC. Our delegates were given the opportunity to interact with fellow delegates from Greece, Cyprus, France, Israel, Italy, Kuwait, the Netherlands, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Turkey, USA, and the U.A.E. Our MUN team is immensely proud, honored, and delighted to have Frangkiskos Emmanouil Kefalogiannis, a former member, serving as the Deputy President of the GA.
