On Thursday, March 21, students of Psychico College Elementary School dedicated the day to the celebration of the anniversary of the great Revolution of 1821.

In the first hours they attended, together with their classmates of Athens College Elementary School, the joint parade of students of Grade 5 in the Alexandros Athanasiadis Stadium of our School. Then, after discussing with their advisors about this historical period and reading relevant texts, they attended the celebration prepared by two sections of the 5th grade, 5c and 5f, in our School's theater with the help of Ms. Theologitou, Mr. Doumenis and Mr. Galitis.

The choir participated in the celebration with the guidance of Mr. Manolikakis and Mr. Billianos. Our students, with enthusiasm, excitement and filled with the feeling of love for their homeland, got a taste of the atmosphere of the revolutionary struggle!

Later, our first and second graders gathered in the school yard, where they had the opportunity to get in touch with real objects from that period (belt, pistol, paste), which were provided to us for this day by the War Museum.

Finally, pupils recited with courage and pride the poems they had prepared for Poetry Day, which coincided with the commemoration of the anniversary.
