On Tuesday, April 16, 2024 the last meeting of the Athens College Elementary School Environmental and Gardening Club with Istanbul's Acibadem private school in the framework of the project "Splash for water change" was successfully held. Specifically, the two schools exchanged actions on responsible water consumption and talked about the need for clean water for all people on Earth. The project aimed for the collaboration between Eco-Schools from different countries to inform and raise awareness of the school community on environmental issues and to consolidate the perception that we are citizens of the world and work together to solve problems. Grade 3 and 4 students presented the posters they made, which they placed above the taps in the School's corridors to remind everyone to turn them off properly. The two schools praised the excellent climate of cooperation and goodwill from students and teachers, which fills us with hope of finding solutions to environmental issues that concern the whole planet.
