On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, students of Athens College Grade 6 presented the PYP Exhibition to parents, teachers, and their classmates. This year, students designed research projects on the ways in which we discover new knowledge and express ideas, feelings, values, beliefs, and cultural characteristics. They explored ways of expanding human ingenuity and creativity and chose their own ways of expression in the PYP - EXHIBITION titled "At Work!". The main objectives of this project of Grade 6 students were to cultivate skills related to research, critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and the use of technology.
The research process was entirely designed by the children and organized in the following steps:
- selection
of the topic,
-
formulation of the Main Idea and the Research Fields,
-
identification of reliable sources,
- analysis
and synthesis of data and information,
- organization of the presentation,
- taking action.
The research topics and the way of presentation chosen by the students were characterized by interdisciplinarity and originality. Congratulations to all on their presentation of PYP Exhibition 2024.
