The expedition of Psychico College Junior High School 3 took place with great success in Epirus, in Ioannina, and in Zagorochoria on April 17-20, 2024.

Our students visited areas of unparalleled natural beauty (Vikos Aoos National Park) and special architecture (Papingo, Monodendri) full of history and folklore. Prior study and engagement through groups helped our students to explore and enjoy their tour.

Visits were made to the Bridge of Arta, the Castle of Ioannina, the Museum of Silversmithing, the Byzantine Museum, the Ali Pasha Museum on the Island in Lake Pamvotis, the Wildlife Park and the Natural History Museum in Bourazani, the Monastery of Molyvdoskepasti, the Perama Cave, the bridge of Voidomatis, the Rizarios School in Monodendri, the Boissonas photography exhibition, the Museum of Greek History of P. Vrellis and the archaeological site of Dodoni.

In the context of social outreach, our students visited the historical village of Delvinaki, attended an environmental educational program together with 18 students of the local high school, participated in theatrical play activities, danced traditional dances and played football, volleyball, and basketball. As part of the social outreach program, our School donated books for the creation of a lending library, HELMEPA materials, and physics laboratory instruments.
