On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, a delegation of students from Psychico College Junior High School, accompanied by teachers Ms. Amalia Anastopoulou and Ms. Margarita Gyftaki, visited the Child Psychiatric Clinic of "Panagiotis and Aglaia Kyriakou" Children's Hospital and specifically the In-Patient Hospitalization Unit, in the framework of an action to offer 100 books to the hospitalized children. The action started at the beginning of the school year and the response of the school community was great. The action was completed on the day when students were hosted in the place where hospitalized children spend their free time and through interaction, they got to know the place, the conditions, the problems, the challenges, and the achievements of the people who offer their services to sick children. Through this activity, our students were informed about mental illnesses and recognized the need for social acceptance.
