A.S.I.S. Junior High – High School Swimming Championships

Within the framework of A.S.I.S. (Athletic Conferences of Private Schools), the American College of Greece organized the Junior High – High School Swimming Championships that took place on Saturday, December 17, 2016, in Agia Paraskevi.

 

From the College, a total of 35 students competed in various events, in which 5 took first place, 5 second place and 9 third place.  In all, 18 schools took part in the competitions. 

 

One new College record and two new A.S.I.S. records were set in the following events:

 

  • 4x50m. Freestyle Relay, High School students Georgos Dimitratos, Eleftherios Manios, Iason Santixis, Achilleas Chionis, 1’45”34 (College and A.S.I.S record)
  • 50m. Freestyle, Georgios Dimitratos, 11th grade, 24”37 (Α.S.I.S. record)



The College took 3rd place in the cumulative scores achieved by Junior High School boys and girls, 1st place by High School boys and 2nd place by High School girls.
